New upgrade next week and a request (need a banner and forum)
My i5 530 has served me long enough. I am upgrading to the 2500k which should be a huge leap in performance over the dual core. I will probably not be posting again till after the upgrade, so I will update this post with the new computer.
After many hours of searching for a suitable motherboard, the MSI P67A-c43 stands out regarding price and performance. I really cant wait to stream Shogun 2 with all the cpu related details on high with xsplit running in the background. It will certainly be future proof for a very long time and I wont be stung with the 2011 socket Intel will release next year. The original plan was to put a i5 750 once I needed the upgrade, but the 2500k is such a massive leap Its hard to justify paying the nearly the same price minus the cost of a motherboard instead of a cpu that blows the i5 750 out of the water.
The request is something I will be really pushing for next week. Just in-case I can catch someone before then, I would really like to get in contact with someone who could make me a banner for this blog and my stream, and also someone else who could help me run a forum. I really need a forum since communicating via this blog is a bitch, and I get many comments and questions about various articles.
